Mentorship and Identity Restoration
At Tamar, faith is at the heart of healing. Our mentorship program connects survivors with women of faith who walk alongside them through every stage of restoration, offering guidance, encouragement, and accountability.
Through prayer, discipleship, and genuine relationship, we help each woman rediscover her worth, rebuild her confidence, and strengthen her faith as she steps into a new season of life. Recovery is the beginning of renewal.
Employment Partnerships
Economic independence is one of the most powerful tools in breaking cycles of exploitation. Our Employment Partnerships program works with mission-minded businesses and organizations to create pathways for survivors to step into sustainable, dignified work. These roles go beyond simply providing a paycheck; they offer a supportive environment where survivors can learn new skills, rebuild professional confidence, and establish long-term stability.
We collaborate closely with employers to ensure that each opportunity is trauma-informed, safe, and tailored to the individual's unique needs. From hands-on training to mentorship in the workplace, our partners play a direct role in helping survivors transition from vulnerability to self-sufficiency. Together, we’re not just filling jobs; we’re building futures, one career at a time.
Survivor-Led Advocacy
We believe those most impacted by human trafficking should have a voice in shaping the laws that protect survivors. Through first-hand testimony, strategic partnerships, and informed advocacy, we work alongside legislators to close legal loopholes, strengthen victim protections, and hold offenders accountable. By elevating survivor voices in policymaking, we ensure that reforms are rooted in lived experience and designed for real-world impact.
